Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Authors are requested to prepare their manuscripts using the official BR Publications Journal Template. Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English. The manuscript should present original research and must comply with the journal's formatting and ethical standards. Authors are encouraged to proofread their manuscripts carefully before submission.

Paper Title

The paper title should be clear, concise, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript. It should emphasize the primary contribution of the research while avoiding unnecessary abbreviations, symbols, or mathematical expressions.

Guidelines

  • Use Title Case.
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 24 pt
  • Style: Bold
  • Alignment: Center
  • Keep the title concise (preferably 10–20 words).
  • Avoid citations, footnotes, and unexplained abbreviations.

Author Details

Provide the full name, affiliation, department, institution, city, country, and email address of all authors. One author should be designated as the Corresponding Author.

Guidelines

  • Use full author names.
  • Include complete institutional affiliation.
  • Provide a valid email address for each author.
  • Clearly identify the Corresponding Author.

Headings

Use a clear hierarchical structure throughout the manuscript.

Guidelines

  • Main headings: Bold, Uppercase, Left-aligned.
  • Subheadings: Bold, Title Case.
  • Number major sections sequentially (e.g., 1., 2., 3.).
  • Maintain consistent formatting throughout the manuscript.

Figures

Figures should be clear, legible, and relevant to the research. Place each figure close to its first citation in the text.

Guidelines

  • Number figures consecutively (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, etc.).
  • Place the figure caption below the figure.
  • Cite every figure in the text before it appears.
  • Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi).
  • Ensure all labels and legends are clearly readable.
  • Obtain permission for copyrighted figures where applicable.

Tables

Tables should present information clearly without duplicating the text.

Guidelines

  • Number tables consecutively (Table 1, Table 2, etc.).
  • Place the table title above the table.
  • Cite every table in the text before it appears.
  • Maintain consistent table formatting.
  • Explain abbreviations in table footnotes where necessary.

Equations

Mathematical equations should be prepared using the Microsoft Word Equation Editor or MathType.

Guidelines

  • Center all equations.
  • Number equations consecutively using Arabic numerals in parentheses.
  • Place equation numbers at the right margin.
  • Define all variables and symbols immediately after their first appearance.
  • Refer to equations in the text as Equation (1) or Eq. (1).

Units

Use the International System of Units (SI) throughout the manuscript.

Guidelines

  • Use SI units wherever applicable.
  • Maintain consistency in unit representation.
  • Define non-standard units when first introduced.

Abbreviations

Abbreviations should be used only when necessary.

Guidelines

  • Spell out each abbreviation in full at its first occurrence, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
  • Use the abbreviation consistently throughout the manuscript.
  • Avoid excessive use of abbreviations.

Abstract

The abstract should provide a concise summary of the research, including the background, objective, methodology, key findings, and conclusion.

Guidelines

  • Length: 150–250 words.
  • Write the abstract as a single paragraph.
  • Clearly describe:
    • Research background
    • Objective
    • Methodology
    • Key findings
    • Conclusion and significance
  • Do not include references, figures, tables, equations, or unexplained abbreviations.

Keywords

Provide 4–8 relevant keywords that accurately represent the main topics of the manuscript.

Guidelines

  • Separate keywords using commas.
  • Avoid repeating words already used in the title unless necessary.
  • Arrange keywords from general to specific where appropriate.

Introduction

The introduction should present the background, motivation, research problem, literature overview, research gap, objectives, and contributions of the study.

Guidelines

  • Introduce the research domain.
  • Review existing work briefly.
  • Identify the research gap.
  • Clearly state the objectives and novelty.
  • Use recent and relevant references.
  • Avoid presenting methodology or results.

Related Works

The Related Works section should critically review previously published research relevant to the study and establish the research gap addressed by the proposed work.

Guidelines

  • Review recent and relevant literature.
  • Compare existing methods and techniques.
  • Discuss strengths and limitations.
  • Identify unresolved research challenges.
  • Avoid detailed descriptions of the proposed methodology.

Methodology

The Methodology section should describe the research design, datasets, algorithms, models, mathematical formulations, implementation details, and experimental setup.

Guidelines

  • Present the methodology in logical subsections.
  • Include flowcharts, algorithms, and system architecture where appropriate.
  • Number all figures, tables, and equations consecutively.
  • Clearly define variables and symbols.
  • Provide sufficient detail for reproducibility.

Results and Discussion

Present the experimental findings, evaluate performance, and discuss the significance of the results.

Guidelines

  • Present results using tables, figures, and graphs.
  • Compare with existing methods where applicable.
  • Discuss strengths, limitations, and practical implications.
  • Use appropriate evaluation metrics.
  • Do not introduce new methodology.

Conclusion

Summarize the major findings and contributions of the research while highlighting the significance of the proposed work.

Guidelines

  • Summarize the objectives and key findings.
  • Highlight the novelty and contributions.
  • Discuss practical implications.
  • Briefly mention limitations, if applicable.
  • Suggest future research directions.
  • Do not introduce new results, figures, tables, equations, or references.

Acknowledgments

Authors may acknowledge individuals, institutions, funding agencies, or organizations that contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship.

References

List all references cited in the manuscript in the order of their first appearance.

Guidelines

  • Cite references sequentially using square brackets (e.g., [1], [2], [3]).
  • Ensure that all in-text citations appear in the reference list.
  • Include complete bibliographic information.
  • Provide the DOI whenever available.
  • Use recent and relevant references.
  • Follow the IEEE reference style consistently throughout the manuscript.

Publication Ethics

BR Publications follows the ethical publishing standards established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts represent original work and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission and agree to its publication.

Authorship Policy

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research, including one or more of the following:

  • Conception and design of the study.
  • Data collection, analysis, or interpretation.
  • Development of methodology or software.
  • Drafting or critically revising the manuscript.
  • Final approval of the version to be published.
  • Accountability for the integrity of the research.

Individuals who do not meet these criteria should be acknowledged appropriately rather than listed as authors.

Corresponding Author

One author should be designated as the Corresponding Author. The corresponding author is responsible for:

  • Managing manuscript submission and communication with the editorial office.
  • Confirming that all authors have reviewed and approved the manuscript.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the submitted work.
  • Handling revisions, copyright agreements, and publication correspondence.

Co-Authors

All co-authors should have made meaningful contributions to the research and share responsibility for the published content. Co-authors must review and approve the manuscript before submission. Honorary, guest, gift, or ghost authorship is strictly prohibited.

Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, commercial, or personal relationships that could influence or appear to influence the research findings. If no conflicts exist, authors should include the following statement:

"The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest regarding the publication of this manuscript."

Plagiarism Policy

BR Publications maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and academic misconduct. All submitted manuscripts are screened using iThenticate or equivalent plagiarism detection software before peer review.

The journal does not accept manuscripts containing plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unauthorized use of copyrighted material. Manuscripts found to violate these standards may be rejected immediately or retracted after publication.

Duplicate Submission Policy

Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to multiple journals or conferences. Manuscripts submitted to BR Publications must not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere.

Citation Ethics

Authors should cite only relevant and necessary literature that directly supports their research. Excessive self-citation, coercive citation, citation stacking, or citation manipulation intended to artificially increase citation metrics is considered unethical and will not be tolerated.

Redundant Publication

Redundant or duplicate publication of substantially similar research is unacceptable. Suspected cases will be handled according to COPE guidelines and may result in manuscript rejection or article retraction.

Research Involving Human Participants

Research involving human participants must comply with internationally accepted ethical standards and be approved by an appropriate Institutional Ethics Committee or Institutional Review Board (IRB), where applicable.

Authors must clearly state:

  • Name of the approving ethics committee.
  • Approval number (if available).
  • Confirmation that informed consent was obtained from all participants.

Research Involving Animals

Studies involving animals must comply with institutional, national, and international guidelines for the ethical treatment and care of laboratory animals. Authors should provide details of ethical approval where required.

Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to make the datasets, source code, and supplementary materials supporting their research publicly available whenever possible. Where restrictions apply, authors should clearly indicate how the data may be accessed.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools may be used to improve language, grammar, or formatting of manuscripts. However, AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, integrity, and scientific validity of all submitted content and should disclose the use of AI tools where appropriate.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare manuscripts using the official BR Publications Journal Template. Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English. Authors are encouraged to carefully proofread their work prior to submission to ensure scientific accuracy, originality, and compliance with the journal's formatting requirements.

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to BR Publications undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by independent experts in the relevant field. Editorial decisions are based on originality, scientific quality, technical soundness, significance, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Retraction and Corrections Policy
